🤍 The artistic creations of Kim Soon Cheol have captivated me for some time. The first pieces I saw were monochromatic works. Full of colour. Green. Magenta. Turquoise. Violet ... 🤍 Another house on a hill. It's in a different country with a different view. This one isn't mine ... oh, to wish ... but I was happy to visit today 🤍 🤍 The trees and flowers tell me I'm home. We are always happy to meet each other again 🤍 🤍 I rediscovered this album last year. It's by the band, George, an Australian indie group. 🤍 A few words. On becoming. On being ... 🤍 I'm watching the drama 'The Light in Your Eyes'. I must say that it's really capturing my attention. After a fun and amusing start to introduce the main characters, the storyline develops great depth and interest. It becomes a portrait of life in all its stages and a commentary on life as we age. 🤍 I just looked back to this time last year. On 18 March 2022, I was also travelling. But in the opposite direction. This time I'm headed toward home instead of away from it. 🤍 Whenever I travel, I have a few things I like to do for a peaceful and intentional journey. For a while now, I've been making an intention to arrive safely at my destination. I see it in my mind and imagine how it will feel. 🤍 I have never understood how artistic or creative people do what they do. How does a painting come from a blank canvas? Where does a song come from? And music ... or a novel or poem. I have never understood what the creative process is about.

About me

The year 2021 was a transformative one. I'd been between home and destination from early 2020 and uncertain times called for a new direction.

Finding this new path was challenging, but lead to creativity and self-expression. A new confidence, too. In November 2021, I began writing on Instagram and continue my writing journey here.

Life continues to be a SoulTree Journey with more travel from here to there and back again. Sharing stories as I go.
